Wearing an arcane respirator allows a character to breathe underwater indefinitely.
-2 to Perception and other visual/auditory tasks
-1 to attack rolls
-5 to Diplomacy, and Bluff
It seems to be a slick coal black helm with an ethereal film that covers the face. At the nape, a small blue glass vial glows softly. Small pipes connect the vial and ethereal mask across both sides of the helm.
Inside the mine, there lay a pile of mining equipment, and in it, were two respirators. Wearing one allows a character to breathe underwater indefinitely. However, it also makes them incapable of talking at distances, and reduces their line of sight.
